Kreo Inc. ("Kreo," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our creator gifting platform that connects brands with content creators.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Password (encrypted)
  • Account type (brand, creator, or manager)
  • Name or brand name

1.2 Instagram Data

When you connect your Instagram account, we access:

  • Profile information (username, bio, profile picture)
  • Follower and following counts
  • Media count
  • Media posts (images, videos, captions, engagement metrics)
  • Direct messages (for brands, to receive creator profile shares)

For brands, we use Instagram webhooks to monitor when employees share creator profiles via DM, enabling automatic creator discovery and enrichment.

1.3 Creator Profile Information

For gifting fulfillment, creators may provide:

  • Delivery address(es)
  • Phone number
  • Clothing sizes (shirt, pants, shoes)
  • Beauty preferences (skin type, foundation shade, concealer shade, skin concerns, preferred shades)
  • Other personal preferences
  • Response templates for DMs and emails

1.4 Brand and Organization Data

For brand accounts, we collect:

  • Organization name and identifier
  • Team member information (email, role)
  • Instagram account connection for DM monitoring
  • Klaviyo connection for sending campaign emails
  • Shopify connection for product information
  • Campaign and gifting form configurations

1.5 Campaign and Response Data

We store information about gifting campaigns:

  • Campaign names, descriptions, and configurations
  • Gifting form questions and branding
  • Creator responses to gifting forms
  • Shared creator profiles and their status
  • Package tracking information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain our gifting platform services
  • Enable brands to discover and connect with creators
  • Enrich creator profiles with public Instagram data via Business Discovery API
  • Facilitate gifting campaigns and form submissions
  • Track and display package delivery status
  • Auto-fill gifting forms on behalf of creators
  • Generate AI-powered response drafts
  • Enable team collaboration within organizations
  • Send campaign emails and notifications
  • Improve and optimize our services

3. AI and Automated Processing

We use artificial intelligence services to enhance your experience:

  • Gifting Classification: AI analyzes messages to identify gifting opportunities
  • Form Analysis: AI extracts and understands gifting form requirements
  • Response Generation: AI assists with drafting responses to gifting inquiries
  • Auto-fill: Automated systems fill gifting forms using creator profile information
  • Brand Extraction: AI identifies brand names from messages and forms

AI processing is performed using Google Gemini and other third-party AI services. Your data may be transmitted to these services for processing but is not used to train AI models.

4. Information Sharing

We may share your information with:

4.1 Service Providers

  • Supabase: Database and authentication services
  • Meta: Instagram API and Business Discovery services
  • Google: Gemini AI services
  • Klaviyo: Email marketing and campaign delivery services
  • Shopify: Product information integration

4.2 Brands and Creators

When a creator responds to a brand's gifting campaign, their form responses and delivery information are shared with that brand. Brands can view creator profiles (including public Instagram data) for creators shared by their team members.

4.3 Managers

If you are a creator with a connected manager, your manager may access your gifting opportunities and profile data. You control this relationship through the platform.

4.4 Organization Team Members

Brand team members within the same organization can view shared creator profiles, campaign data, and form responses.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Secure authentication via Supabase
  • Row-level security policies in our database
  • OAuth 2.0 for third-party integrations
  • Secure token storage for API access

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Creator profile data enriched via Business Discovery is refreshed periodically. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and data
  • Disconnect Instagram, Klaviyo, and Shopify integrations at any time
  • Opt out of AI-powered features
  • Control auto-fill settings and allowlists
  • Export your data

8. How to Delete Your Data

You can request deletion of your data at any time. Here's how:

8.1 Disconnect Third-Party Integrations

Before deleting your account, you may want to disconnect your connected services:

  • Instagram: Go to your Instagram Settings > Apps and Websites > Remove Kreo
  • Klaviyo: Go to your Klaviyo Account > Settings > API Keys > Revoke Kreo access, or disconnect from the Kreo Settings page
  • Shopify: Go to your Shopify Admin > Settings > Apps > Remove Kreo

8.2 Request Account Deletion

To delete your Kreo account and all associated data, please email us at inquiries@kreo-inc.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

  • Your registered email address
  • Confirmation that you want to delete your account

We will process your request within 30 days and send confirmation once your data has been deleted.

8.3 What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will permanently delete:

  • Your account and profile information
  • All gifting preferences and delivery addresses
  • Gifting opportunities and form responses
  • Campaign data and configurations (for brands)
  • Instagram data stored in our system
  • Any manager-creator relationships
  • Organization memberships and team data

Note: Data that has been shared with brands (such as gifting form submissions and delivery addresses) may be retained by those brands. You will need to contact them directly to request deletion of that data.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

Our platform integrates with third-party services (Instagram, Klaviyo, Shopify). Your use of these services is subject to their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies.

10. Children's Privacy

Kreo is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
